* In the past 3 years in Cox's Bazar district,
- NSU and Community Vision Center in 4 Upazilla health complex
- Institutional Practice in 2 Upazilla health complex ,
- SAM Corner and Evening Lab services have been launched in Cox's Bazar district to improve the quality of public health services.
* Maternal mortality rate is being reduced by regular normal delivery services, ultrasonography, caesarean operation and blood transfusion in all health complexes.
* Effective measures are being taken to control malaria, tuberculosis and HIV infections.
* E-Tracker program started to accelerate and modernize EPI program. MR-2 vaccination coverage increased to 99.2 at regular EPI coverage.
* Due to regular postings from the health service department and recruitment of consultants, doctors and other health service workers under the health and gender support project, the health services of the district have been speeded up. Regular mandatory biometric attendance monitoring to ensure regular attendance of healthcare workers including doctors, nurses in hospitals.
* 194 community clinics in the district are functioning effectively with adequate manpower and adequate medicines, of which 100 are rebuilt with new 2 storied design.
* Strengthening of infection prevention system by construction and operation of medical waste management centers in all health complexes, improvement of NCD corner in all upazila health complexes and increase in treatment rate of non-infectious and cervical cancer patients through opening of VIA-colposcopy rooms.
* A 20-bed union sub-health center has been provided with solar power, manpower and medicine to ensure emergency medical care for tourists in the country's only coral island, Saint Martin.
* 2 mobile TB detection vans and 2 water ambulances are operational.
* Modern PCR Lab, ICU, HDU, Isolation Beds have served the district during the Covid-19 pandemic. Central manifold oxygen system has been installed in all health complexes. Covid-19 vaccine coverage has increased to over 83% in 1st dose, 78% in 2nd dose and 36% in 3rd dose.
* Monitoring of private clinic diagnostics is being strengthened.
* District nutrition coordination committee is being formed and regular meetings are being organized under the leadership of this office for multi-sectoral nutrition coordination.
* MR, PENTA, PCV, OCV, TD and Vitamin A+ campaigns have been implemented in several phases along with routine EPI to ensure the health care of forcibly displaced Rohingya from Myanmar to prevent vaccine resistant diseases. In this regard, the role of various Non Government organizations is significant.
